Univation's PRODIGY™ Bimodal HDPE Technology is utilized for production of pressure pipe product that meets PE100 and PE4710 (North America) pipe standards. Bimodal HDPE-based pressure pipe products cover a range of pipe applications including natural gas distribution, water distribution, oil/gas transport, mining applications, and industrial applications. PRODIGY™ Bimodal HDPE-based pipe grade is excellently suited for this application as the pipes have demonstrated PE100 performance with respect to minimum required strength (MRS), slow crack growth resistance (SCGR), and rapid crack propagation (RCP) requirements. In addition to this, PRODIGY™ Bimodal HDPE Pipe Grade provides high extrusion rates and remarkable low-sag performance in large diameter pipes of up to 2 meters in diameter.
Univation’s PRODIGY™ Bimodal HDPE Technology utilized in the UNIPOL™ PE Process enables licensees to produce single-reactor bimodal HDPE products for various bimodal film applications, including grocery / t-shirt bags, trash can liners and other thin film applications. PRODIGY™ Bimodal HDPE Products have demonstrated outstanding performance attributes, including excellent bubble stability at high extrusion rates and excellent film toughness as evidenced by high dart impact strength.
Univation's PRODIGY™ Bimodal HDPE Technology utilized in the UNIPOL™ PE Process enables licensees to produce single-reactor bimodal HDPE blow molding products for HIC applications. Product applications covered include detergent, bleach, fabric softeners, automotive, marine supplies, antifreeze, motor oils, and agricultural related chemicals (pesticides and herbicides). PRODIGY™ Bimodal HDPE Products have demonstrated outstanding performance attributes like high ESCR at very high stiffness, which allows the thin-walling and light-weighting of bottles. Bottles can also be produced in different shapes, sizes and attractive colors for brand recognition.
